The Rio+20 Global Youth Music Contest (GYMC) is a global competition for young people organized on the occasion of United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20 Earth Summit) www.uncsd2012.org to be held in June 2012 in Brazil. GYMC encourages youth to express their hopes, concerns and thoughts on future of our earth by using music. The con- test aims to collect musical messages from global youth exploring global solu- tions for sustainable development. The first prizes winners of each category will be rewarded with a trip to Rio de Janeiro to participate in the Rio+20 Earth Summit in June 2012 and make the voices of global youth heard during a public performance they will give to share the message of global youth.

Rio+20 Global Youth Music Contest is organized by the International Association for the Advancement of Innovative Approaches to Global Challenges (IAAI) with support from youth organizations and enthusiastic individuals/volunteers from all around the world.
