By participating in the Global Youth Music Contest you affirm that you are either more than 18 years of age, or an emancipated minor, or possess legal parental or guardian consent, and are fully able and competent to abide by and comply with these Rules of Participation.In case you win the Global Youth Music Contest you guarantee to be available to perform at the Rio+20 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20 Earth Summit) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from 20 June to 22 June 2012. There is no right of appeal.
What are the deadlines for the Global Youth Music Contest presented by Global Rockstar
Starting with December 2011 until 18 March 2012 you will have the opportunity to enter your music performances. On 19 March 2012 until 19 May 2012 users will get the opportunity to vote for their favorite music performances. By 19 May 2012 we will know who the winners for each of the two categories (below 15 years of age and 15 to 30 years of age) are.In case you win the Global Youth Music Contest you can choose up to two persons to accompany you to the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (The Rio+20 Earth Summit) in Rio de Janeiro in June 2012.
